Company Philosophy

J&SBC has helped juice bars get started across the globe and has had the privilege to work with many different types of people. We learn something from each and every client and understand that people have their own ideas on how to do things. We are not here to tell people what to do, but to share our information, contacts, and experiences to help position our clients for success.

Work The Process Backwards - J&SBC has had many clients come to us with a store designed, construction underway, and the menu is not done. We feel this is a mistake that can cost thousands of dollars or even worse, increase operating costs hurting profits. Our philosophy in putting together juice & smoothie bars is to work things backwards. This sounds simple, but it is critical to doing things right.

The target market should determine the menu. For example, you may not want to do a hip, loud, upbeat juice bar if your target market is a retirement community. J&SBC can help you identify your customers and put together a concept that will appeal to the target market.

Once you create your menu and understand how you will prepare your products, you can then determine the specific equipment needed. Other factors to consider in choosing the equipment are: space limitations or requirements, anticipated volume, product delivery schedules, and budget.

Once the equipment list is put together you can then design the equipment layout. The equipment layout will dictate the production flow and should be designed efficiently to make the best use of your space.

The production flow is brought together by the operating systems that brings everything together to insure product production flows are efficient and you are making best use of the space.

You Never Have A Second Chance To Make A First Impression - This is a very important concept for new juice bar operators to understand. When you open your doors, you will be instantly judged on the look and feel of your store, product quality, customer service, and having your act together. Do not open until you are ready to put your best foot forward.
